Australia

This term we are reading Rabbit Proof Fence. This book is about three aboriginal girls with European fathers. These girls are separated from their parents and their home because th government wanted them to receive an education. The three girls weren't comfortable there, so they escaped from there and they went home.

The story happened in Australia, which is one of the biggest countries in the world. It has many unique animals like kangaroos and koalas. By reading some articles I've learned some things about this country, for example, the fact that 90 percent of the Australians live near the coast, and 30 percent were born in another country.  It has also some of the most poisoning snakes and is the country where you can find the biggest rock in the world.

In my opinion Rabbit Proof Fence is a very interesting book because is based on a real story. At the end of the story the book tells you what happened with the three girls and their town.

And talking abou other terms, I will recommend two songs that I like by a Turkish group called MaNga:

- We could be the same

- Fly to stay alive
